In life, we face many trials and tribulations that leave us feeling like we have either succeeded or failed. As a person with many roles, I can relate to the constant feeling of being overwhelmed. Personally, for me, this feeling comes from being a perfectionist and dwelling on both the things I can and those I cannot change. Through my many experiences, opportunities to travel, and spiritual teachings, I began to understand that we all encounter experiences that have the potential to affect our bodies mentally, physically, and/or emotionally! Witnessing patterns in my life, as well as in the lives of others, that are sometimes unhealthy taught me the importance of self-care and holism, inspiring me to create Khope Beauty & Wellness. Khope is pronounced "cope" purposely because this business is meant to be a safe space where one can engage in acts of becoming whole through forms of release, balance, and increased confidence.  It is a place where one CAN begin to cope with personal issues in a healthy way.  I define the word cope as engaging in the step-by-step process of effectively and successfully dealing with life's stressors and transforming oneself into a more healthy being.
